A Finnish team coach has tested positive for Covid-19 Coronavirus
X-Country Ski Team Finland's coach Ville Oksanen has tested positive for Covid-19 Coronavirus. On the day of the arrival in Quebec he was informed that he had been predisposed to Covid-19 four days before. He contacted the team's doctor and the authorities in Quebec and was placed under quarantine in his hotel room immediately.
Oksanen had no contact with other teams during travelling or in Quebec. All team members of X-Country Ski Team Finland are now under quarantine but have shown no symptoms. Oksanen was not present at the preceding World Cup competitions in Norway. The contact with Covid-19 happened after Lahti World Cup, so there is no risk of exposure in other World Cup events before Quebec.
